Description

AKANTIU PAN is a novel device used for detecting alpha particles, beta radiation (electrons), gamma radiation (photons) and X-ray.  AKANTIU PAN performant solid state sensors with high immunity to RF and electrostatic fields and very good detection sensitivity. In conjunction with radiation detection AKANTIU PAN measures the magnetic field in  X, Y, Z axes, humidity and temperature.  AKANTIU PAN is capable of logging more than 100000 data points that can be later accessed via the Bluetooth or USB interfaces. For synchronizing measurements there is dedicated port for trigger IN and trigger OUT lines that uses convectional CMOS 3.3V voltage levels. AKANTIU PAN can be powered using 3xAAA batteries for outdoor applications or it can be powered via the USB  for continuous monitoring. An Android application permits real-time communication with AKANTIU PAN and for advanced tasks the USB interface and command API permits engineers & researchers to easily integrate this device with their experimental/measurements setup.

AKANTIU PAN has a small form factor (13x6x3 cm) that permits both outdoor and indoor usage.

AKANTIU PAN comes in two models:

    1. AKANTIU PAN base model that detects Beta, Gamma radiation and X-rays
    2. AKANTIU PAN extra model that detects detects Alpha (Am-241), Beta (C-14) and Gamma radiation
