AKANTIU BeeModule Feeding System is novel modular system for beehive feeding. Due to its modular design this feeding system can be easily scaled from small number to a very large number of beehives. To make the feeding process very safe the AKANTIU BeeModule Feeding System uses several passive safety mechanisms.

- AKANTIU BeeModule Feeding System uses a novel modular design concept. One module can feed 12 beehives in parallel with same quantity. During each feeding operation, each beehive can receive 500ml of liquid food.
- A feeding operation last maximum 8 minutes/500ml/beehive. If more quantity is desired than sequential feeding operations can be used.
- For apiary’s with more than 12 beehives, multiple AKANTIU BeeModule’s can be used in parallel. For example, an apiary with 96 beehives, needs 8 AKANTIU BeeModules for the complete feeding system.
- Every AKANTIU BeeModule’s has a maximum capacity of 6 L per feeding operation that is distributed equally, using a novel distribution system, to the 12 beehives. For example, when the module is loaded at maximum capacity of 6L and all 12 beehives are connected, at the end of the feeding time each beehives receives 500 ml. If the smaller quantity is desired, for example 200 ml per beehive, then the AKANTIU BeeModule must be loaded with 12*200ml=2,4 Liter of liquid food or syrup.
- Each AKANTIU BeeModule has several passive safety mechanism that ensure the correct quantity is reaching each beehive.
